Fritillaria meleagris alba

Alluring Orchids 2015 - A Tropical Extravaganza

7 February to 8 March 2015

Escape the winter cold and enter the steamy Princess of Wales Conservatory for our beautiful orchid festival. Experience an explosion of colour and discover why these plants evolved to look so vibrant and enticing.

Colourful for a Reason

Orchids use extraordinary means to tempt, exploit and attract their pollinators: Colour, shape and smell play a vital role in ensuring their survival, making them one of the most successful and diverse plant families on Earth. Visitors to the festival will discover the diverse range of colour that orchids and tropical plants use to entice insects, birds and other animals. #keworchids

Entry to Alluring Orchids is included with a normal day entry ticket to Kew Gardens
